Call for papers

Submission of papers the LIFT2 2025 Workshop is open to everyone.
Presentations may address any topic relevant to the LIFT2 Thematic Network. In particular, though not exclusively:

  • feedback and experience reports on the use and/or development of computational tools for linguistic analysis;

  • linguistics and open science: opportunities opened up by sharing data, tools, and publications;

  • formal language modelling (formal language theory, unification grammars, etc.);

  • computational methods for the analysis of under-resourced, minimally written, or undocumented languages;

  • linguistic research and ethics (participatory research, bias in models, applications of computational models, etc.);

  • reflections on the automation of analysis and validation processes.

Those wishing to present their work are invited to submit an anonymised abstract of two to four pages, written in either French or English. Submissions must be in PDF format and comply with the official style guidelines, which are available in the style files here.
Abstracts can be submitted via scienceconf (requires registration).
For accepted submissions, a presentation format (oral/poster) will be proposed following the review process.

  • Notification of acceptance: 15 September 2025
